Gardens By Day is a maintenance and soft landscaping business based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne including the Mornington Peninsula Region. Founded by Michael Day in 2015, the service provided comes with prestigious garden experience and knowledge, offering you the best within the industry.

At Gardens By Day we work with you to create the garden you desire, offering a range of services including soft landscape/garden design and specialised maintenance programs. As we say, “it’s your garden – your way!”. Allowing us to ensure your garden will look exactly how you imagined.

Our Journey

Michael’s passion of gardening started at an early stage, pottering around in the Dandenongs, learning how to bury his hands into the soil, nurturing plants and watching them grow.

In 2011, Michael went on to study Horticulture, completing his apprenticeship at Scotch College Hawthorn, gaining years of knowledge in prestigious garden care and turfing.

After Scotch College Michael went on to work at PTA Landscapes gaining further knowledge within the industry working on commercial and residential gardens.

Breaking out on his own in 2015, Michael founded Gardens By Day, maintaining high end gardens in inner city Melbourne, before spreading out to encompass the Eastern Suburbs.
